Blue Plate Specials
The last Wednesday of each month from 11-2 is our BPS fundraiser. A local restaurant generously donates lunch which we offer for a minimum $5 donation. Call ahead for a takeout order, or join us in our dining room. Listen to WRGC 680 AM for menu details the morning before, or give us a call at 586.6782.
Empty Bowl Fundraiser
The Community Table's annual Empty Bowl fundraiser will be held Friday, April 24th, 2009 from 4-8 at our 127 Bartlett Street location. Purchase a $20 ticket and receive your choice of handcrafted bowl to keep, soup or stew donated by a local restaurant, bread, dessert, and drink. We'll also have live music. Plus, March - April 30 make your donation go even further just by letting us know you are aware of the Feinstein Foundation Challenge. The more you donate to us, the more funds we'll be eligible to receive from them!
Food For Kids
We also have a Food for Kids backpack program that currently provides 83 children with food to take home on weekends during the school year. The need is much greater though, and we hope to eventually be able to serve every needy child in Jackson County. Ask how you can help.
