In addition to the ShareCroppers, we receive food and other supplies from a number of organizations and individuals.

Fruits and vegetables have been contributed by Terry's Produce, Frank and Trudy DeArmond, Dan Patillo and others.

Prepared food is often provided by Harris Regional Hospital, Jarrett House, and other food services organizations.

Preserved foods are provided by Sylva Post Office employees, various organizations on the Western Carolina University campus, and the Interact Club at Smoky Mountain High School.

The Table is a member agency of MANNA Food Bank. MANNA provides cost efficient meat, produce, dairy and salvaged food items that would otherwise be unaffordable by the Table. The Table is also a member of the USDA, an agency of the Federal Government that provides free food to human service organizations that address hunger.

Support for Table operations continues to come from organizations, individuals, and fund-raisers. If you are interested in assisting The Community Table in this manner, please call 828-586-6782, and speak to our Executive Director. Current needs are posted on this web site under our "Wish List." If you drop off any food or supplies without prior arrangement, be sure that your contributions are recorded along with your name, address, and phone number.

PLEASE: Donations cannot be left outside our facility. Call and arrange a time to bring them when someone can receive them.
