- Assist the Food Server in any manner requested such as helping to bag ToGo orders, preparing additional food for the steam table, toasting bread, or the like.
- Get bin of soiled dishes and flatware and load into dishwasher. Do this carefully to utilize space in dishwasher efficiently as those that do not fit will have to be washed by hand in porch sink.
- Prepare porch sinks for washing excess plates, cups, and flatware. All sinks should be filled to about six inches with hot water. Use some cold water in right sink so you can work in it with your hands. Put 1/8 cup of detergent in the right sink. Put 1/4 cup of chlorine bleach in middle sink. The left sink is left plain to rinse off the bleach. Add hot water to the left sink as appropriate to ensure items are rinsed well. Empty the left sink and start over if warranted.
- After dish washer is filled, wash all soiled plates, cups, and flatware as they become available. Look for other items that can be washed before final cleanup.
- Wash pans, utensils, and anything else as appropriate. Place on racks to air dry.
