On-going Volunteer To-Do List
Listed below are a few on-going areas where you can help us to keep our facility running smoothly so we can better serve our community together:
- Replace water in serving table.
- Sweep and mop all floors.
- Sanitize the countertops and fridges with warm water mixed with Pine-Sol or cleaner.
- Dust away cobwebs in facility.
- Unload and reload dishwasher.
- Stock dry dishes.
- Scrub eyes of the stove.
- Check, empty, and replace bags in trashcans inside and outside, kitchen and bathroom.
- Break down and organize recycling. (Plastics and metals together, only types 1 and 2 plastics. Number can be found on the bottom of the plastic container. Rinse out all recycling before preparing it in trash bags.)
- Wrap silverware in napkins and make sure each seat in dining room has a set.
- Restock cans and discard the out-dated and rusty cans.
- Defrost small freezer outside (check with kitchen manager/executive director)
- Clean kitchen drawers and cabinets
